Fans of Apple products have already started to speculate on what this year’s models will look like. At the same time, images have appeared on the web, which, according to preliminary reports, show the design of the future iPhone 14 Pro. In general, it is similar to the 13 Pro, but judging by the proportions, a number of changes have still been made.

Cameras

The new model features a slightly larger camera unit than its predecessor. To maintain adequate proportions due to such changes, the phone will clearly be larger. It is possible that the corners will be rounded for greater user comfort. Such nuances are noted by graphic designer Jan Zelbo – the author of the image of the alleged design of the upcoming novelty. The drawing is based on numerous leaks.

As the rear camera unit will be larger, the radius of the cameras will also increase. The number of cameras in the iPhone 14 Pro will be the same as the 13 Pro – 3. The main one will be 48 megapixels, while the additional ones will get 12 megapixels each. The main camera module will provide 8K video capabilities. Compared to the main camera of the previous model, the 14 Pro will have a 57% larger sensor itself. It is thanks to such an increase, there will be a significant increase in the quality of the images obtained.

Design

The look of the upcoming iPhone 14 Pro, shown in the published pictures, was also based on the company’s previous trends. As the models increased the “camera” space, the overall shape of the device changed. The larger the camera unit, the more rounded the body became. This ensured an attractive appearance and basic convenience. This started with the iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max.

In last year’s models, the company decided to ignore the need to achieve some sort of harmony in design. The lack of proper consistency made the iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max not look so cute anymore. Compared to the 12th generation, the 13th is significantly different specifically in the Max model. The two are extremely difficult to confuse, unlike the Pro.

Apple clearly intends to continue increasing the camera capabilities on its devices by enlarging the unit. But if you ignore the change in the rounding radius of the body itself, the look is going to get worse and worse. It’s unlikely that a company that is always eager to provide not only powerful functionality but also beautiful design will go for something like this. So it’s assumed that the roundings will be in line with the size of the rear camera unit.

The front of the iPhone 14 Pro will also differ from its predecessor. First of all, the “fringes” will be eliminated. In its place will be a block of front cameras. By the way, they are characterized by TrueDepth technology. In addition, the display is expected to become even wider by reducing the frame around it by 20%. This is another significant difference between the future novelty and last year’s iPhone 13 Pro.

The base model of the upcoming series will not see much change in terms of body curvature. Because of this, the 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max will differ significantly from the iPhone 14. Nevertheless, all these points are not some fantastic innovation.
