Apple Fitness Plus launches on 24 October for iPhone users

According to Apple’s announcement, iPhone, iPad and Apple TV users will also be able to use a wide range of Apple Fitness Plus from 24 October. Apple Fitness+ service to be integrated into fitness app with iOS 16.1

The sports app offers a wide range of different features that support workouts in a variety of disciplines, from quiet walks to intense workouts. Data such as training interval duration, time and calorie consumption are measured and documented.

What will be on the Apple Fitness Plus service

Until now, these features have only been reserved for Apple Watch owners, but now with iOS 16.1 they should be fully integrated into the regular fitness app. The price is $9.99 per month or $79.99 per year. New purchasers of Apple devices get a free three-month trial subscription.

As well as releasing the Fitness Plus app on all devices, Apple has also announced several new features. In addition, Apple Fitness Plus offers new editions of the Time to Walk podcast featuring actress Hannah Waddingham and musician Meghan Trainor. Also on sale: three new workout kits (’80s Cycling’, ‘Best Conscious Training for Athletes’, ’14 Day High Intensity Interval Training’ and ‘Strength Challenge’), and a yoga programme for runners with professional endurance runner Scott Jurek and yoga instructor Jessica
